Description

Café de Paris is the ideal mix of herbs to make the most flavourful herb butter. The fresh flavour of the herbs and the savoury taste of garlic are perfectly balanced making it a great addition to grilled foods. It takes just a few minutes to prepare this intensely flavourful herb butter - and beats any readymade herb butter from the grocery store by a mile.

Café de Paris by Ankerkraut can be used to add a delicious flavour to numerous other dishes as well such as fish, steaks, sauces, raw vegetables, snails or potatoes.

Preparing herb butter with Café de Paris:
Take 2 tsp Café de Paris and 0.5 tsp salt for 100 grams of butter.

  1. Let the butter soften at room temperature or warm it up by placing it briefly in a warm water bath (bain-marie)
  2. Stir in the herb mix and salt.
  3. Transfer the herb butter to a container or place it in a strip of aluminium foil and shape it as desired. Refrigerate it.
  4. After 60 minutes, the butter will have hardened and is ready to serve.
