Description

Udon is one of the most popular types of noodles in Japan - it is an indispensable part of their cuisine with innumerable recipes and preparation methods for the thick, creamy-white noodles.

The mild taste makes them a universal side dish. They are particularly popular as an ingredient in soups or stews. They are also perfect in stir-freis and Asian noodle salads.

Good to know: The organic Udon wheat noodles by Arche are made in Europe using traditional Japanese methods. The fresh dough is gently rolled and dried.

Preparation: Cook the noodles in plenty of boiling, salted water for 14 minutes. Drain and rinse briefly with cold water. Serve or cook further as per your recipe.
