Description

German packaging: Bio Pizzateig mit italienischen Gewürzen

This pizza dough is really easy to make - you don't need to weigh it out or add any seasonings. Simply add the water and olive oil, knead and you'll be ready to go! The dough is made with wheat flour and yeast and can be baked on a baking sheet, a pizza stone or grill. The little packet of Italian herbs can be added to tomato sauce for your pizza.

You'll need:

  • 1 baking mix
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 ml of cold water

Make 2 pizzas with 250 g dough each:

  1. Open the mix and remove the spice satchet. Cook these spices with tomato sauce to make the perfect pizza sauce.
  2. Pour the mix into a large bowl.
  3. Fill the can up to the water line (200 ml) with cold water and pour the water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil into the baking mixture. Knead into a smooth, supple dough, by hand or using a mixer (mix for approx. 7 minutes).
  4. You can let your dough rise slowly like they do in Italy, or let it rise quickly for a faster result.
    Fast pizza dough: Cover the bowl and place it in a warm place (approx. 24 ° C) for 1 - 3 hours.
    Italian-style slow pizza dough: Cover the bowl with cling film or a damp cloth and place it in the refrigerator. Let the dough rise overnight or up to 5 days. Take the dough out of the refrigerator 1 to 2 hours before you're ready to use it and let it come to room temperature.
  5. Preheat the oven to 250 ° C (electric). If you use a pizza stone, preheat it too. If you want to grill the pizza, preheat the stone on the grill at 350 ° C.
  6. Divide the room temperature dough into 2 even pieces and shape them into balls, then toss the balls in four. Press the dough out into circular shapes using your hands, making sure the edges are thicker than the middle. Do not use a rolling pin to roll the dough out! T
  7. Bake:
    Oven with a baking tray: Place the pizza on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cover it with the pizza sauce, your favourite ingredients and cheese. Bake at 250 ° C for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
    Oven with a pizza stone: dress your pizza on a pizza peel, then place it on the preheated stone. Bake at 250 ° C for about 10 minutes.
    Grill with a pizza stone: Place the pizza dough on the pizza stone and bake for 4 - 5 ° at 350 ° C with the lid closed.
