Bake Affair Organic Spelt Grissini

The crisp spelt grissini or breadsticks by Bake Affair are perfect for a little snack between meals. The can is also a great container to store your grissini after baking so they stay fresh and crisp for longer. Free from added colours and preservatives, they are perfect for the whole family!

Other ingredients you need:

• 100ml water
• 1 tbsp oil

Method of preparation:

1. Place the baking mix in a suitable bowl.
2. Add 100 ml cold water and 1 tablespoon oil.
3. Knead into a smooth dough by hand or in a food processor for about 7 minutes.
4. Cover the bowl with cling film or a clean, damp cloth and let the dough rest in a warm place (approx. 24 °C) for 1 - 3 hours.
5. Flour your work surface and shape the dough into strands that are about 1 cm thick and 10 cm long.
6. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top and bottom heat) and bake the grissini on a baking tray lined with baking paper for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
7. You can optionally sprinkle herbs, sesame or poppy seeds on the grissini before baking.
