Description

Bring home the fine aromas of winter with Bake Affair's baking mix for winter cake with hazelnuts and cinnamon. It combines aromatic hazelnuts with a subtle hint of cinnamon, giving the cake a delightfully spicy and nutty taste.

The cake has a soft, moist texture and is perfect for cosy afternoons with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Whether as a fragrant treat during Advent or as a homemade delicacy on the winter coffee table - this winter cake is quick to bake and exudes festive anticipation in the run-up to Christmas.

Baking instructions:

  1. Take the contents of the baking mix in a bowl or Thermomix.
  2. Add 130 ml water and 30 g melted butter to the baking mix and mix for 1 minute with the food processor, hand mixer or Thermomix (level 2 with spatula) to make a smooth dough.
  3. Grease a Bundt cake tin or cake pan with butter and sprinkle some flour on it. Then transfer the dough into the cake pan.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 165 °C for about 35 minutes (use a toothpick to test if done).
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the tin for about 10 minutes. Then turn it out of the pan.

Tip:
The dough is also ideal for making delicious cupcakes. Make the dough as described above and spoon into the cups of a cupcake tin. Bake at 165 °C for about 25 minutes.
