Belberry Apricots & Amaretto Preserves, 130 g

Apricots and marzipan make a dreamy pair, so what could be more delightful than apricot jam paired with amaretto? Belberry, a Belgian company, makes this preserve by combining sweet, fruity apricot jam with Italian almond liqueur. The Amaretto has a clear, slightly tart marzipan note.

Tip for quick baked goods:

• Take store-bought puff pasty out of the fridge and let it cool to room temperature. Cut into squares or triangles as desired and fill each with a teaspoon of jam. Fold over the pastry to make a pocket (seal the edges well or score them with a fork). Alternatively, roll up the puff pastry triangles to form small croissants. Brush with an egg yolk if necessary.
