Description

Whip up a batch of firm and tasty cake cream with Dr. Oetker Classic Cake Cream. It's quick and easy to prepare; no cooking required.

Method of preparation for a classic buttercream:

  1. Pour 250 ml of milk (room temperature) into a bowl and whisk in the cake cream powder with to form a creamy mix.
  2. Let is rest for about 15 minutes.
  3. Whip 250 g soft butter, 170 - 200 g icing sugar and 1 sachet of vanilla sugar with a handheld mixer (beaters) until light and fluffy.
  4. Gently incorporate the cake cream from step 2 into the butter mixture one spoonful at a time.
