Cantina Girlan Pinot Bianco "Platt & Riegl" 2022 DOC

The grapes grow on the slopes above St. Michael/Eppan at around 550 m above sea level. This ensures cooler temperatures - especially in the evenings - that is responsible for its pronounced acidity. The Platt & Riegel is a strong wine with straw-yellow colour in the glass that is complex and stimulating on the nose.

Exotic notes along with delicate woody spice and mineral hints from the calcareous soil are the first hints that give away the exquisite quality of this wine. Spicy and complex on the palate, creamy and mineral. Fine fruit aromas, beautifully integrated, very delicate wood. Powerful on the palate, good acidity with a touch of freshness that extends into the long finish. A fine wine that can be enjoyed right away but also has great ageing potential for a few years.

Pairs well with fish, white meat and rice dishes.
