Description
It is nearly impossible to imagine Italian cuisine without the genuine San Marzano tomato from the Campania region. The ripe tomatoes are harvested by hand, peeled and preserved whole in a water bath at exactly 100°C. This retains the unmistakable tomato flavour that lends a distinctive Mediterranean touch to numerous dishes. This speciality is delivered in a classic tin with a beautiful vintage label.
